Kuala Lumpur, July 6: The inaugural Mini EsportsCon was held at the Parliament building, underscoring Malaysia’s commitment to the burgeoning e-sports industry. Organized by Esports Integrated (ESI) and the Malaysia Electronic Sports Federation (MESF), the event featured engagement sessions between e-sports stakeholders and Members of Parliament (MPs). Deputy Youth and Sports Minister Adam Adli Abd Halim emphasized the industry’s dynamic nature and its economic potential.
Key initiatives presented included the National Esports Development Guidelines (NESDEG) and the Esports MedicA initiative, aimed at promoting player health. The event also included hands-on game demonstrations for attendees.
